It covers the prevalence and complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus, as well as the diagnosis and classification of type 2 diabetes mellitus according to RSSDI guidelines. The module discusses the use of Voglibose in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, emphasizing the requirement for combination therapy and the effect on PPHG reduction. The module further discusses the need for triple drug combinations, specifically the glimepiride, metformin, and voglibose fixed-dose combination. It covers the three case studies, demonstrating the efficacy of this fixed-dose combination therapy in different patient scenarios.
