Cough is an important natural defence mechanism of the respiratory tract. It can also be a warning sign of several respiratory and non-respiratory diseases and is one of the most common reasons for children seeking medical treatment. Cough is the most common symptom for which medical treatment is sought in the outpatient setting. Cough poses a great diagnostic and management challenge due to myriad etiologies. We want to disseminate knowledge on early diagnosis & management of cough, so that it helps clinicians to have better patient outcome.
