Dr. Yasmeen Jabeen Bhat is an Associate Professor & Head in the Postgraduate Deptt of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, Government Medical College, Srinagar (J&K). She has contibuted to 137 publications, more than 100 presentations and 30 books. She has won various awards such as the Dr BM Ambady Oration (2022), Prof G Sentamil Selvi Award (2021), IADVL Presidential Award (2019), IFEP Award by American College of Physicians (2014-2015). Dr. Yasmeen has earned AAD Reciprocal Scholarship (2023), WCD scholarship (2019), Skin cancers (UNMC, USA) fellowship and LASERS fellowship (AIIMS, New Delhi). She is the International Dermoscopy Society Board Member (2021-2024), Coordinator of SIG Dermoscopy (2022-23), Convener of SIG Dermoscopy (2020-2021), Member of ACSI ACADEMY (2021-2022), Member of IADVL ACADEMY (2017-18), Member of IADVL SOP committee (2021,22), Vice president of IADVL J&K (2019), Hon. Secretary of CODFI (2017-19), Member of SIG Trichology (2015-16, 2019-20). She has been the Associate editor of IADVL Dermoscopy Atlas & IADVL Recent Advances textbook (2nd edn), Section Editor IJDVL (Dermoscopy, Trichology) & IADVL textbook of Trichology, Editorial board member of JCAS, PI, HTT, JIMPH journals, Reviewer for the journals: JEADV, IJWD, IJDVL, IDOJ, HTT, CDR, DT Her areas of interest are Dermoscopy, Trichology, Lasers , Skin cancers.
