Dr. Rita Vora is working as Professor and Head of Department of Skin and VD at at Pramukh Swami Medical College and has 33 years of experience She has delivered guest lectures in many international National & State conferences of dermatology, cosmetology and STDs and has presented papers & posters. She has delivered guest lectures and chaired scientific sessions in various conferences. Dr. Rita Vora served as the vice president of IADVL Gujarat state branch in 2008-09 and year 2018-19. She delivered the Prestigious Dr P. B Haribhakti Oration on “A study of clinico-epidemiological profile and prevalence of HIV infection in patients of herpes zoster” at Cuticon IADVL state conference at Vadodara in Dec 2010. She has served as scientific chairperson at CUTICON 2014 held at Mount Abu and CUTICON 2018 held at Ahmedabad. She has served scientific member at DERMACON 2013 and E-CUTICON 2020 She has served as member of SIG Leprosy, SIG Dermatopathology, SIG Pediatrics and Pigmentory Diseases, IEC committee at pramukh swami medical college, board of studies in MS University of Baroda, 2008 -2011. She has served as the scientific chairperson at Association of Cutaneous Surgeons (ASCICON) 2016 at Meerut, 2017 at Daman, 2018 at Ahemdabad and 2019 at Mumbai. She has served as a scientific member at Derma west zone conference in 2009 and 2011 Her areas of special interest are Vitiligo, Leprosy, Clinical dermatology and cosmetology.
