SENQUEL-F foaming medicated oral gel
Composition: Potassium nitrate 5%, Sodium monoflurophosphate 0.7%, Triclosan 0.3%. Indications: Used for treatment and prevention of tooth sensitivity. Dosage & administration: For Dental Use Only. Pea sized dental gel is applied with a soft brush to affected teeth twice a day. Brush the teeth for at least 1 minute. Spit out the medication after use. Not to swallow the medication. Not to eat, drink for at least 30 minutes after use to get the best results. Contraindications: With known history of hypersensitivity or allergies to any ingredients. Special Warnings and Precautions for use: The amount of application is small pea-sized with proper brushing technique. Infants under 6 months of age and population living in areas with high fluoridated water supply (over 0.6ppm) are advised to avoid fluoride containing toothpastes. Use in specific populations: In Pregnancy and lactation- Potassium nitrate belong to category C drug. However, patients should follow the advice of the physician regarding its use. Triclosan is detected in breastmilk. Nursing women are advised to consult a physician before use of SENQUEL-F. Senquel F should not be used in children under 2 years of age. Adverse Reactions: Potassium Nitrate if ingested may cause serious adverse effects, which include: dizziness, abdominal pain, blue discoloration of lips, skin and fingernails, diarrhoea, headache, convulsions, confusion, nausea and unconsciousness.
